GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 application correction facility. Registered candidates will now be able to edit their GATE 2025 application form till 20 November 2024 by visiting the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Earlier, the GATE 2025 form correction deadline was today i.e. 10 November 2024. The candidates may note that they will require their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to log in and make changes in their GATE application form 2025. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15, and 16 February 2024 in two shifts i.e. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
This is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission into master’s programs offered by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, covering 30 test papers. Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two test papers from the available two-paper combinations. The admit card for the same is expected to be released on 2 January 2024. The GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be released on 19 March 2025.

Change of gender from female to any other gender- Rs 500 + Rs 900 = Rs 1,400
Change of category to SC/ST- Rs 500
Change of category from SC/ST to any other- Rs 500 (for female candidates or PwD candidates)- Rs 1,400 for all other candidates
Change from Non-PwD/Dyslexic to PwD/Dyslexic- Rs 500
Change from PwD/Dyslexic to Non-PwD/Dyslexic- Rs 500 (for female candidates or PwD candidates)- Rs 1,400 for all other candidates

GATE 2025: How to make corrections?
- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Then click on the application correction link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- Make the required changes and review the same.
- At last, click on submit and save the confirmation page.
- Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
