The CBSE is all set to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 examination on July 7, 2019.


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the exam in 97 centres across the country.

The CTET is conducted by CBSE for the selection of teachers in the government school.
The CTET exams are held for both the primary and elementary stages. The eligibility criteria for both stages are:


For primary stage (1st-5th):- Candidate, who passed 12th with 50% marks or in the final year of 2year Diploma courses in Elementary education are eligible to apply for the exam

For Elementary stage(6th-8th):-The candidates must have qualified graduation by scoring 50% marks or in the 1st year of B.ED.


CTET Exam Pattern: The CTET examination paper consists of 150 questions. The exam is of a total of 150 marks. The candidates are required to score a minimum of 90 marks out of 150 to clear the merit list.

This time is crucial for every CTET aspirants who wish to secure good marks in the exam.
Here are some tips which might be helpful for all the candidates who are going to appear for the CTET July 2019 examination.

  1. Check latest exam syllabus:- CTET examination pattern carry two part of the paper. Both parts consist of different subjects.
    During preparation try to cover all the topics of the syllabus. Try to do it one by one so, it will be easier to remember the points for the longer period of time. As syllabus has many subjects, it is important to make a study plan to prepare each and every topic of syllabus.

  2. Solving previous year question papers:- While solving last year question papers, you will be able to get an idea about the pattern of the question paper. This will help to know the subjects you need to put extra efforts on and attention during preparation.

  3. Prepare short notes:- Short notes are more helpful while revising in the last movement of examination. Make short notes for all the important topic from each subject. While making short notes you should always keep in mind to highlight the important facts.

  4. Refer important books for CTET exam:- While preparing for the exam, use suggested books for CTET exam. Reading NCERT books might be helpful for the preparation. Instead of preferring lots of books, use a few but important reading material.

  5. Work on your weak areas: Nobody is perfect, everyone has some weak points. During preparation for the CTET try to work on your weak area. Give much attention to the subject or topic in which you are weak.

  6. Don't try to study everything in short duration:- Candidates try to cover everything in a short period of time. In limited time don't be panic and try to cover an important topic, you can take help from online tutors.
