The application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is to conclude next month by the Consortium of National Law University (NLU).

The Consortium of National Law University (NLU) had extended the application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and extension of lockdown in India, the Consortium of NLUs has extended the application date as well as reexamination date for CLAT 2020.

The examination has been scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2020, and the application process for the same is to conclude on May 18, 2020.
The candidates who are interested to appear for the exam can visit the official website i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in, and apply for the entrance examination.

The authorities have notified that CLAT 2020 entrance examination will be held in the pen and paper mode on June 21, 2020. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on May 10 which has been rescheduled to May 24 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

CLAT 2020: Revised Exam Pattern

The University has also revised the exam pattern for this year.

UG Programme: The 1200 marks exam will be two-hour-long where Multiple-Choice Questions will be asked. There will be 120-150 questions of one mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

Subject areas: English including comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

PG Programme: The paper will have comprehension based questions. The exam will be two-hour long.
