With the release of results for the class10th and 12th by the Central Board of Secondary Education on July 22, the process of revaluation has also begun.  CBSE has published a Notification on Saturday informing that the re-evaluation process will be held in Three-Stages, in which re-evaluation can be done only after the application of the first and second steps. This entire process will be online only on the CBSE website.

After the declaration of the result, a large number of students are not satisfied with their results. These students have been given the opportunity of revaluation by CBSE. This process has been kept in three steps, in the first step, students will apply for Verification of Marks, the date of which has been kept between 26 to 28 July. For this, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 per subject. Only after the application of verification of marks, students will be able to apply for the photocopy of their answer book in the second step. The application window for the second stage will be held on the 8th and 9th August 2022.

To get the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet, a fee of Rs 700 per answer sheet will have to be paid. If the student is not satisfied even with the evaluation done in these two stages, then he can apply for revaluation in the third step. In the third and final step, the application can be made between August 13 to 14, for which the student will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for rechecking each question.

Students willing to give JEE Main 2023 must apply

Career expert Amit Ahuja said that due to the lack of clarity on the eligibility status of 12th board exam marks for JEE Main 2023, students should apply for the revaluation process given by CBSE. Because next year probably in the eligibility for JEE Main, 75 percent marks are expected to be removed from 12th pass like 2019 before Covid Pandemic. In such a situation, students should take advantage of the revaluation opportunity given by CBSE.
