CBSE Postpones Class 10, 12 Exams for February 28 & 29, Check Details Here

CBSE has released a Press Release regarding the postponing of the Board exams for Class 10 and 12 which were scheduled to be conducted on February 28 and February 29, 2020, in North East Delhi. 

The press release has been issued due to the Delhi riots. 
CBSE has earlier also postponed the exams for the North East Region due to the same. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education has taken this step in view of the safety of students. Although violence has stopped in North East Delhi, the situation is not completely normalized yet. For this reason, CBSE has again decided to postpone the examinations of class X and XII on Friday and Saturday. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday also postponed the 12th English paper.

The exams in the rest of Delhi will be conducted as per schedule. The next date of examination will be informed to all affected candidates on the official site of CBSE shortly.  

Significantly, in view of the violence earlier, CBSE had postponed the board examinations of the students in the violence-prone areas. The Central Board of Secondary Education has taken this step in view of the safety of students. Although violence has stopped in North East Delhi, the situation is not completely normalized yet. For this reason, CBSE has again decided to postpone the examinations of class X and XII on Friday and Saturday.
