CBSE CTET 2023: The 17th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in offline mode using pen and paper. Until now, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test has been conducted online, but in the last two years, flaws have been observed in the operations of the exam organizing agency. Therefore, this time, the CBSE CTET exam will be conducted offline in designated exam centres across the country.
CTET Exam to be Conducted Offline: Important Details
Candidates have two months to prepare for the exam. Since January 2021, the CTET exam has been introduced as an online Computer-Based Test (CBT). However, the CTET unit has once again changed the exam pattern. Candidates will now have to mark their responses on the OMR sheet.

- CTET Official Notification: April 27, 2023
- Last date to apply: May 26, 2023
- Last date for payment of the application fee: May 29, 2023
- Application Correction Window: May 29, 2023, to June 2, 2023
- CTET Admit Card: August 18 or 19, 2023
- CTET Exam: August 20, 2023
