CAT 2024: The Indian Institution of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is going to close the registration window for the Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) registration tomorrow. Interested candidates can visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in. to fill out the registration form.
The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on 24 November 2024. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in three shifts i.e. first shift will be conducted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third shift will commence from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in online mode.
The admit card for the same will be released on 4 November 2024. The candidates may note that to participate in this exam, they will have to pay application fees according to the category i.e. Rs 2, 500 for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates and Rs 1, 250 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disabilities (PwD).
CAT 2024: Exam pattern
The CAT 2024 exam will have three sections i.e. verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). The paper will consist of 66 questions and the candidate will get 3 marks for each correct answer. However, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
