BPSC AE Exam 2022: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has deferred the conduct of BPSC AE Exam 2022. The Commission apprised of the postponement of the exam on the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in on May 24, 2022. Candidates registered for and about to appear in the exam can check the detailed information published on the aforementioned link.
BPSC AE Exam 2022: Here's What the Official Notification States
The official notification released by the Commission which shed light on the postponement of the exam read, 'The BPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) exam (Civil) was slated to be held on June 12 and June 13, 2022. The Commission has not issued any new dates for the conduct of the exam for the Civil branch candidates. Thus, the revised dates for the exam will be declared by the Commission later.

BPSC AE Exam 2022 for Civil and Mechanical Branches
The notification released by BPSC did not mention any changes with respect to the AE exam for Mechanical and Electrical branches. Thus, it is being speculated that the exams for these branches will be held as per schedule on July 2 and July 3, 2022, respectively.
The exact reason behind the deferment of the Civil branch exam has not been ascertained yet. The Commission has stated that the exam has been rescheduled owing to unavoidable reasons.
BPSC AE Exam 2022: Paper pattern
The exam to recruit eligible candidates to the posts of Assistant Civil Engineers will be held in the offline mode. The question paper will comprise objective-type questions. The candidates will have to attempt 4 mandatory papers and 2 optional papers.
Each correct answer will fetch one mark to the candidates, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong response. The medium of exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
