Uttar Pradesh Students will be taught through WhatsApp during the lockdown. Through social media platforms – WhatsApp, the students will be taught online. A group on the WhatsApp will be made for classes specifically for the new semester. For this, WhatsApp groups of teachers and students will be formed.

Deputy Chief Minister of the state Dinesh Sharma mentioned has given this information through a tweet that During the period of lockdown it will be easy to study through WhatsApp group.

The lockdown period has been extended to May 3 in the country to prevent the coronavirus outbreak. All schools and colleges in the country are closed due to the lockdown. In such a situation, students are being taught only through online education.

In Uttar Pradesh, teachers will share study material through the WhatsApp group. School Education Department has formed WhatsApp groups in blocks of every district for this. Through these WhatsApp groups, online classes will be conducted in various schools across the state. Explain that in UP, students from class I to VIII have been promoted to the next class without examination. The remaining examinations of class X and XII are yet to be conducted in the state. The final decision regarding these exams will be taken only after the lockdown opens.

Also, Mostly people are working from home after the lockdown in the country and many countries and students are also provided online education classes during this time. The classes were earlier being conducted through a video calling app like Skype or Zoom. The zoom video calling app was being used extensively during this time. Not only School but college studies are also being done from this app, but questions are constantly being raised on the Zoom video conferencing app regarding security and privacy.

But recently the government has informed people that the Zoom video conferencing app is a point of concern and has major security and privacy concerns.
