NEET Controversy: In today's decision, the Supreme Court told the petitioner that their plea has been accepted by the NTA. The NTA is removing the grace marks. The Supreme Court clarified that only those students who received grace marks will be involved.

The NTA has stated that the re-examination for the 1563 students will be held on June 23. Following this, the counseling process will begin.

The NTA also mentioned that the issue of paper leakage in the third petition is not before the Supreme Court.

During the hearing, the NTA presented two options to the 1563 students whose results had been alleged to have irregularities due to grace marks. The NTA stated that these candidates could either participate in NEET UG counseling without the grace marks or retake the NEET exam.

The NTA will conduct a re-exam only for the 1563 students who appeared at the six exam centers. These students will be able to retake the exam on June 23, 2024. The results of this re-exam will be announced on June 30, 2024.
