The event is scheduled to take place at the International Convention Centre, Gautam Buddha University. It will commence with an inauguration at 10:00 am, which will be succeeded by the exhibition of entries for poster and photography competitions, along with lectures delivered by distinguished academicians and industry experts. Additionally, a significant feature of the event will be the exhibition of products created from food waste. Various companies will also present products from the food and allied sectors during the event.

Students from Gautam Buddha University, other universities/colleges and higher secondary schools of Delhi-NCR region will participate in the event.
This year 2024, the theme of World Food Day, as announced by FAO, is “Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future”. Food is the third most basic human need after air and water and ensuring food security for all human beings to avoid hunger and malnutrition should be the prime responsibility of the global community.
