ATL Space Challenge Begins Today, Know About CBSE and ISRO’s New Initiative
ATL Space Challenge - PC : My Result Plus

ATL Space Challenge 2021 initiative launched by Atal Innovation Mission is starting from today, 4th October 2021. Students can now participate in this program. This mission has been started with the help of the Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO and Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE.


Applications for the ATL Space Challenge 2021 will end on October 10, 2021. It is a platform that aims to showcase the space of the digital age as a part of the Atal Innovation Mission. Through this, the ability of students to find solutions to the problems of space technology in the digital age will be developed.

This week is also being celebrated as World Space Week 2021 from 4th to 10th October. The objective of this week is to celebrate and promote the contribution of space science and technology to society.

ATL Space Challenge 2021: What can be built? 

  • Explore Space - Develop games that inform about space planets; Create apps to raise awareness about space and the outside world and; Develop robotic systems technologies to improve space exploration missions.
  • Inhabit Space - Solving space exploration problems and designing 3D models for 3D printed habitats that can be used in space; Develop life support systems that enable extended human presence in space; Humans can create a virtual environment using AI/ML to simulate the location to prepare.
  • Reach the Space - Create a 3D model (virtual or physical) for equipment, vehicles, etc. that can be used to reach space; Using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities in various areas of space operations and spacecraft maintenance; Develop mobile apps to make living in space better/easier (eg: communication or navigation focused, etc.) 
  • Leverage Space - Geospatial Technology, Drone Technology and Visualize Data.
