UPSC IES/ISSC 2024 Registration Window open on 11 April - PC : MRP Graphics

UPSC IES and ISS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the registration window for the IES/ISS Examination 2024 today, 11 April. Eligible candidates can register themselves till 30 April, 2024 by visiting the official website i.e. upsconline.nic.in/


The Commission will open the correction window for candidates after the application window closes from 1 May to 7 May. 


This recruitment campaign aims at providing 48 vacanies, out of which 18 vacancies are in the Indian Economic Service and 30 vacancies are in the Indian Statistical Service.


UPSC IES and ISS 2024: Application Fee

  • After the completion of the application process candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 for this recruitment.
  • Here women/SC/ST/PwBD candidates do not have to pay any application fee.


UPSC IES and ISS 2024: Age Criteria 

  • Candidates applying for this recruitment campaign must be between 21 and 30 years old. 
  • However, there is also a relaxation in the maximum age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories.


UPSC IES and ISS 2024: Educational Requirements

  • Candidates must have obtained a postgraduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university, inorder to participate in the IES (Indian Economic Service) examination. 
  • Candidates must have obtained a bachelor's degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized university, in order to participate in the ISS (Indian Statistical Service) examination.

  • Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website at upsconline.nic.in.
  • Then, click on the 'One-Time Registration (OTR)' for UPSC examinations and online applications, displayed on the home page. 
  • After registering fill out the application form.
  • Next, upload necessary documents as per UPSC guidelines.
  • Then make the payment and submit your form. 
  • Download a hard copy of the application form for future reference.
