UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to close the registration window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 tomorrow. Interested candidates can submit their application form by visiting the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The candidates may note that the last date to submit the UGC NET 2024 application form is 10 May but the payment window will remain open till 12 May 2024. After closing the registration window NTA will open the application correction window for the candidates who want to make corrections in their application form.
The application correction window will be opened from 13 to 15 May 2024. Candidates will be able to edit their personal details, academic qualification, exam city preferences, and scanned photos.

UGC NET 2024: Revised date of exam
The UGC NET 2024 exam will now be held on June 18 instead of June 16. The exam was postponed due to the clash of UGC NET with the UPSC prelim exams. UGC-NET 2024 exam will be conducted for 83 subjects in OMR (pen and paper) format.

- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Passport size identical photo
- Signature
- Valid photo Id

UGC NET 2024: Application fees
Candidates interested in submitting the application for the UGC NET 2024 exam need to pay the application fee according to the category. Candidates belonging to the general category will pay Rs 1150, those from other backward classes (OBC-NCL) will pay Rs 600 whereas candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Transgender will pay Rs 325 as application fees.

- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Then, click on “Application for UGC NET June 2024”, displaying on the home page.
- A new tab will appear for UGC NET registration or login.
- Now, fill out the NET registration form by providing your required information.
- After registration, fill out the UGC NET application form 2024.
- Next, upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and submit.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
