UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to close the registration window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 today, 19 May.
Eligible candidates can fill out their UGC NET 2024 application form by visiting the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Candidates must note that the UGC NET 2024 examination will be held on 18 June, 2024 for 83 subjects in OMR (pen and paper) format.
The UGC NET 2024 entrance exam is conducted to awards successful candidates with Junior research fellowship (JRF), admission to PhD programmes, and appointment as assistant professor in universities and colleges within India.
The candidates may note that after closing the registration window, the NTA will open the application correction window for the candidates to make the required changes in their application form.
The correction window will open from 21 May onwards. The candidates will be able to edit their personal information, academic qualifications, exam city preferences, and scanned photos.

UGC NET 2024: How to apply?
- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Then click on the “UGC NET June 2024 Registration/Login” link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fees.
- At last click on the submit button.
- Candidates can save the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
