UCEED Registration 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, or IIT Bombay is going to close the registration window for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design 2025 (UCEED 2025) today with a late fee. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. uceed.iitb.ac.in. to apply for the same. 

The exam will be conducted on 19 January 2024 in a single shift i.e. 9 am to 12 pm. The admit card will be issued on 3 January 2024. The provisional answer key and the candidate’s response will be released on 21 January 2025. The result will be released on 7 March 2024. 

The applicants should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 OR 2025. Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply.

Last date for online registration with a regular fee- October 31, 2024
Last date for online registration with a late fee- November 8, 2024
Start date for admit card downloading- January 3, 2025
Last date for rectification of discrepancies in the Admit card- January 9, 2025
UCEED 2025: date and time of exam- January 19, 2025 (Sunday) 9 am to 12 noon

UCEED Registration 2025: Exam pattern

Part A: Computer-based with multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions, testing skills in areas like visualization, reasoning, language, and design sensitivity.

Part B: Drawing test that assesses creativity and design skills.

Total Marks: 300 (180 marks for Part A and 120 for Part B).

Duration: 3 hours (2 hours for Part A, 1 hour for Part B).

Marking: +3 for correct answers in Part A, -1 for incorrect MCQs. Part B is assessed based on drawing quality with no negative marking.

  • Then click on the registration link available on the home page. 
  • Register yourself and fill out the application form. 
  • Pay the required fees and at last click on submit. 
  • Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
