JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to close the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 tomorrow. Interested candidates who have not submitted their applications can visit the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. to apply for the JEE Mains 2025 session 1 exam. 

The first JEE Main 2025 exam session will be conducted from 22 to 31 January 2024. A candidate will not be required to appear in both the sessions of JEE Main. Candidates who want to improve their scores can apply again and appear for the JEE Main April 2025 exam. The highest of the two scores will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit. 

As per the JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination with 75% marks (65% for SC, ST) in physics, mathematics, and chemistry/ biology/ technical vocational subjects. Students appearing in the Class 12 board exam 2025 are also eligible.

JEE Main 2025: Changes introduced 
  • JEE Main 2025 new website is jeemain.nta.nic.in 
  • NTA has dropped optional questions from section B of both JEE Main papers. 
  • Candidates will now have to attend all five questions instead of choosing five out of 10.
  • JEE Main 2025 tie-breaking rule has been changed NTA has dropped age criteria from JEE Mains 2025. Any student can apply for the exam and there is no age limit. 
  • NTA has reduced the number of exam cities from 300 to 284 this year. The number of international exam cities has also been cut.
JEE Main 2025: How to apply?
  • Firstly, candidates will have to visit the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
  • Then click on the registration link available on the home page. 
  • Register yourself and fill out the application form. 
  • At last click on submit and save the confirmation page. 
  • Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
