Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has issued notification for the recruitment of 7140 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. Interested candidates may fill the vacant posts by sending their application on or before 30/01/ 2014.

Number of vacancies- 7140

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 1112 posts
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): 6028 posts
Age Limit :
Candidates should not be below 21 years of age for TGT and PGT posts as on 01/07/2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
For Trained Graduate Teacher TGT posts – Candidates must possess a degree in concerned subject with training degree. For Post Graduate Teacher PGT posts – Candidates must possess Post Graduate degree in concerned subject.
Application Fee:
General OBC and other unreserved category candidates- Rs 430/-
ST category candidates – Rs. 230/-
SC category candidates- Rs 130/-
Note :
Application fee should be remitted in the form of DD, drawn in favor of Secretary Secondary Education Service Selection Board U.P. payable at Allahabad through the following banks: SBI, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Allahabad Bank.
Selection Process :
Selection will be done based on the candidates’ performance in written examination.
