PM Modi To Interact With Schoolchildren On September 17

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with children of a primary school, aided by the non-profit organisation, on September 17. He will arrive in the city on Monday afternoon and head towards Narur village, where he will interact with children of a primary school aided by the non-profit organisation "Room to Read." Later, at DLW campus, PM Modi will interact with students of Kashi Vidyapeeth, and children assisted by them. 

On September 18, at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Amphitheatre, PM Modi will inaugurate or lay the Foundation Stone for various development projects, cumulatively worth more than Rs. 500 crore. Among the projects to be inaugurated are: Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for Puraani Kashi; and an Atal Incubation Centre at BHU. Among the projects for which the Foundation Stone will be laid, is the Regional Ophthalmology Centre at BHU. 

The report come three days after 18 tudents of the Banaras Hindu University have been named in a police complaint filed over the clashes that broke out at the varsity premises on Wednesday morning between students living in two hostels.
The clashes started after two students of a hostel went to the other hostel to eat breakfast at the mess and got involved in a verbal argument, apparently over food, which escalated into a physical confrontation. 

Several students were injured in the clashes, which continued for over an hour and led to vandalism at both the hostels. 

Banaras Hindu University is likely to announce the list of BHU 2019 courses which the university grants admissions in the last week of December 2018. BHU provides various courses of BHU 2019 in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. BHU courses 2019 are divided into faculties including Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Commerce, Institute of Science, Faculty of Education, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Performing Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts, Faculty of Sanskrit, and so on.
