Ensuring transparency, the PanjabUniversity will give barcode academic degrees to students at the annual convocation next month.
“Although, we have not received anysuch case of fake degree certificates on the campus, there are cases elsewhere.We need to be cautious,” said Professor Parvinder Singh, Controller of examination(CoE), Panjab University.
Features of waterproof barcodeacademic degrees
The barcode academic degree comes witha security thread.
It is waterproof and non-tearable.
The degree certificates will be pinkin colour.
Who will get the barcodeacademic degrees?
Panjab University students whocompleted their graduation, PhDs and M Phils will be honoured with barcodeacademic degrees during the convocation in March 2017.
