No appointment be issued to selected candidates : HC
The Allahabad High Court has ordered as an interim measure that pursuant to notification of June 25 this year related to recruitment result of 4010 posts of sub inspectors and platoon commanders in UP police, no appointment letter shall be issued to any of the selected candidates without permission of the court.

Justice Anil Kumar of the HC's Lucknow bench passed the order on a writ petition filed by four applicants.

According to petitioners' counsel, the result of the recruitment has been challenged in this petition on the grounds of various alleged irregularities committed in it.

The counsel submitted that in an identical circumstance, the Allahabad bench of the HC passed an order on August 5 this year in another petition, which says "it is, therefore, provided that pursuant to impugned notification dated 25 June, 2015 issued by the Additional Secretary, Recruitment/ Examination Controller, UP Police Recruitment and Promotional Board, Lucknow, no appointment letter shall be issued to any of the selected candidates without leave of the court".

Therefore, the counsel for the petitioners argued that the the same benefit may be given to the present petitioners also.

Accordingly, the Court gave the interim order.
