National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand has issued recruitment notification to fill the vacant posts of Professor/Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
Eligible candidates are advised to read the complete notification before applying for the post. The applicants may send their applications on or before 15/04/2014.

Age Limit:
According to the recruitment notification issued "Candidates age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for PWD candidates & for others will be applicable as per the rules".
Educational Qualification:
The candidates who wish to apply for the above mentioned posts should possess Ph.D in relevant field and should have qualify IIT/ IISC/ NIT, NET/ SET. Candidates appearing/appeared for Final M.Tech. Examination and whose results are likely to be declared on or before 31st July 2014 may also apply for the post of Assistant Professor in
engineering discipline for contractual appointment.
Selection Criteria:
The applicants will be selected based on their performance in written test & interview.
