NCERT Books
There will not be any increase in the prices of National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) Books, as stated in the press note.
According to several media reports, it has been stated the NCERT is likely increase the prices of its books from the next academic year.
Reacting to the reports, Hrushikesh Senapati, Director of NCERT has stated that these speculative reports are likely to be exploited by some elements for hoarding and profiteering by creating artificial shortage of books.
He also clarified that no statement from NCERT has been given to anybody whatsoever regarding the pricing of the books.
In further explanation he informed that all NCERT books are available at its portal for downloading free of cost.
