Following paper mass cheating reports from two centres in Mathura, the Uttar Pradesh Board has launched Whatsapp Number (9454457241) for registering complaints to prevent students using unfair means during exam.
While the class X English exam was cancelled on Monday, the question paper was reportedly circulated via Whatsaap.
FIRS have been lodged against two class invigilators at Ganga Charan Inter College in Barnahal and the superintendent of Sarvodaya Inter Colllege in Rohela.
The launch of Whatsapp complaint number comes a week after an invigilator was caught on camera helping students cheat in Haryana Board Class X examination.
The video, recorded by Hindustan Times on last Tuesday, depicted that the teacher who was supervising the Science exam at Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jhajjar, reading out the answers to students.

Following the incident, Jhajjar district education officer (DEO) Satbir Siwach informed media that an inquiry has started and strict action will be taken against the teacher.
“We will get the inquiry reports soon after which we will see what needs to be done,” said Siwach.
The report comes a month after Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) expelled 204 Class XII students for using unfair means in the intermediate examination.
