Government of India issues job notice for 645 Field Investigator
The National Sample Survey Office, Field Operations Division, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoS&PI), Government of India has issued recruitment notification to fill the vacant posts of 645 Tentative Field Investigator vacancies on purely contract basis for specific period as advertised by the concerned Regional Offices of FOD.

The eligible and willing applicants are advised to read complete notification with utmost care before applying for the posts.

Age Limit :
Candidates willing to apply for the above mentioned posts should be aged between 21 to 30 years as on 01/07/2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Remuneration :-
(i) Field Investigators will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 16,500/- per month.
(ii) While on tour TA/DA will be as follows:-
a. T.A.:- Sleeper class fare by ordinary/express train or bus fare for ordinary or express bus or actual fare-whichever is less.
b. D.A.:-
(i) Ordinary-Rs. 150/-
(ii) Hotel Stay- Rs. 350/-

Educational Qualification :
Candidates should possess Graduation Degree from a recognized University with Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics as one of the papers at Degree level & should have knowledge of English and local language & Computer applications like MS office etc.

Selection Process :
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
