The government has announced 10,000 recruitments for the posts of Police, Village Magistrate, and Canal Patwari.
For this post, the government had made that rule mandatory for submitting the Magistrate’s affidavit.
This condition created problems for the applicants. On the last day of application submission, a maximum crowd of the youths were visited the lower secretariat and Tehsils. This was converted into nuisance and riots.
The commission announcement stated that while applying for recent 10,000 posts recruitment, applicants do not need to submit Magistrate’s Affidavit. Candidates can give the self-attested letter, they will get the benefit of five marks.
Stamp paper was sold out for Rs. 10
To get 5 marks, candidates had to spend hours in the Line and they had to pay maximum money for getting stamp paper & photocopy. Most of the Photocopy owner charged Rs.10 for a single photocopy. Stamp paper of Rs.10 was sold out for Rs 50. Even for the affidavits; the candidate had given money to the officers. In Tehsil Campus, there was no one present to control the crowd and a separate line for Girls and Boys.
Forgery had also Took Place
Fraud activities were also appeared in Rohtak for making an affidavit. Most of the Youths were getting their affidavit from other places. A young man was arrested with the fake seal of Tehsildar, which was later abandoned.
