A day after the Delhi High Court asked CBSE to explain apparent errors in the class XII exam paper evaluation procedure, the board on Thursday extended the last date for submitting applications for verification of marks to June 27.
While the decision comes following a meeting between Union human resources development (HRD) minister Prakash Javadekar and members of parents' association from Odisha in connection with the loopholes in the class XII exam paper evaluation procedure, the board also extended the last date for seeking access to photo copies of answer books to June 30.
However, the board has taken a prompt decision to setup two committees comprising of senior officers to delve in depth into the problems related to the evaluation processes.
