Campus placement: IITs revoke ban on 30 Companies
IIT Delhi - PC : Hindustan Times
With fewer firms visiting campuses for placement, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have lifted the ban on 30 Companies.

While the decision was taken during the All-India Placement Committee (AIPC) meeting of IITs held in Kanpur recently, the firms were restricted from participating in the placement process after they deferred joining dates.

"Many students, interested in setting up their own business, want to work in start-ups and understand how they function. We do not want them to lose out on opportunities," Kaustubha Mohanty, AIPC convenor, informed media.
