Good news for Indian students aspiring to study in the United Kingdom. The British Council is now offering the Great Britain Scholarships – India 2017 worth £ 1 million for Indian students.
While the announcement was made by British Council (South India) Director Mei-Kwei Barker in Hyderabad on Monday, the British Council will host ‘Study UK: Discover You exhibition’ in Hyderabad on Tuesday to spread awareness among Indian students about the education opportunities in UK.
“198 scholarships in subjects areas ranging from art and design to engineering, law and management are on offer for students aspiring to study in the UK,” said Barker.
British Council in India connects people with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK. It is considered as connecting platform for students learning English language and study abroad.
