The Army will conduct a 4-days long employment rally to recruit youth from Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir from October 7.
"An open recruitment rally for the Soldier General Duty (GD), Soldier Clerk Staff Duty (Clk SD) and Soldier Tradesmen categories will be conducted by Ladakh Scout Regimental Centre at Phyang from 07 October to 10 October 2014," the Defence spokesman said.
The rally is being organised in Ladakh's Phyang belt, he said.
The aspirants have been asked to approach Ladakh Scout Regimental Centre at mobile number 9822172797 for further details on the selection procedure for open recruitment rally.
The procedure will be with regard to age, education qualification, domicile/Nativity, requirement of original documents, Adhar Card, Marital Status (unmarried certificate), NCC certificate holders, sons of Ex-servicemen/War widows, physical tests, medical tests, he said.

Permanent body tattoos on any part of the body except on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm and backside of hand, is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further screening, he added.
