AMUTA asks VC to fill teaching staff vacancies in 3 months
The Aligarh Muslim University Teachers Association (AMUTA) on Monday passed a resolution demanding from the vice-chancellor to urgently fill all the "vacancies" of teaching staff within the next three months.

In the resolution, AMUTA claimed that "more than 35 per cent posts of teachers were lying vacant in the university" and alleged that selections were being done in "selective and discriminatory manner based on favouritism".
