Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi invites applications for its PhD Positions.
IIIT-Delhi offers PhD in multiple research areas of covering five major disciplines viz Computational biology (CB), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Mathematics (Maths), Social Sciences (SS).
Currently having more than 140 PhD scholars on roll, students gets opportunity to get exposure to industry facing fellowship like IBM, MSR, TCS, Intel, Cognizant etc. At the same time we are having eqally good number of scholars with Govt. funded fellowship like PM fellowship.
DST-INSPIRE, DBT, Visvesvaraya, CSIR, UGC etc. IIIT-Delhi gives exclusive opportunity to get an exposure to international research environment through Overseas Research Fellowship.
Attractive stipend of Rs.27, 000/ per month in the first year. Up to Rs.30, 000/- per month in 2nd to 4th year.
Candidates in the final year of their programmes and who expect to complete their qualifying degree requirement in current academic session are also eligible to apply for admissions.

The last date for submission will be 1st April 2018 (till 17:00).
Candidates can apply only through the online application portal. There is no provision for offline submission of application forms.
There is no application fee for PhD programme.
Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which may be supplemented by a written test, if necessary.
The Institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records, statement of purpose, etc. the final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.
