With the Annual Secondary Board Examination and Annual Intermediate
Examination-2014 commencing on Friday prohibitory order under section
144 CrPC will be in force from 6am.
The prohibitory order, effective within 500 yards of all examination centres, will be in force till 6pm of March 13, Sub-divisional Magistrate Dalbhum, Prem Ranjan said on Thursday.
The prohibitory order will be imposed to prevent any attempt by undesirable elements or unauthorised persons that may result in breach of peace and tranquillity in course of the examination to be conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council.
During the prohibitory period, Ranjan in a communique said that carrying weapons, lathis and fire-arms, using loud speakers intending to help the examinees, possession of fire-works and holding public meeting would be restrained.
