A group of students from Jamia Milia Islamia who undertook a cycle rally of more than 1,000km with the mission to promote the cause of women''s safety was today felicitated at the university here by Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.
The rally from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi concluded today at the university campus where the Lt Governor received the students along with members of the university staff.
Jung, who during his time as the Jamia Milia Islamia Vice- Chancellor had started the tradition of cycle rallies with a social cause, lauded the students for having successfully traversed the huge distance, displaying mental strength and determination to achieve their target.
