Bihar Governor D Y Patil has set up committees for recommending names for appointment as Vice Chancellors and Pro-Vice Chancellors of each of the 11 universities in Bihar.
The search committees, comprising three members each for all eleven universities, have been asked to recommend a list of names separately for the post of VCs and Pro-VCs in each university, including the Nalanda Open University, a Raj Bhawan release said.
Distinguished academicians of top higher education institutions from across the country have been empanelled in the search committees to identify eligible candidates and recommend their names for selection as the VCs/Pro-VCs of Bihar-based universities.
