The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to resume the evaluation process for UP Board Class X and XII copy checking process from May 05, 2020. More than 3 crore copies were to be evaluated by the teachers, this year. There are approximately 275 evaluation centres of UP Board across the state.
UPMSP Secretary Nena Shrivastava informed that around 56 lakh students had appeared for the UP Board Exams 2020 but the evaluation process of their answer sheets had been halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
Nena Shrivastava also said that the preparations for the social distancing and proper channelling of evaluators health and safety have been completed.

Since the Deputy CM instructed during a video conference that the examiners have to maintain social distancing while examining copies. Also, they have to sanitize their hands from time to time.
Earlier the evaluation process for UP Board 2020 Answer Sheets was commenced on March 16. The 10 per cent assessment was completed but in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the government postponed the evaluation process.
This year around 57.36 lakh candidates registered for the examinations of UP Board for class 10th and 12th. Over 4,68,804 students left the UP Board Examination due to strictness on copying, this year.
