CBSE updated class 10 and 12 syllabus for next academic year, read here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board’s class 10 board exams have successfully commenced and Class 12 board exams will end on April 2, 2024. The results of the same will be announced after the work of evaluation will be completed.  

The CBSE 10th exams were conducted between February 15 and March 13, 2024. Around 20 lakh candidates registered for the CBSE Class 10th examinations this year. Whereas, the CBSE 12th exams were conducted from February 15, 2024, to April 2, 2024.  Around 16.9 lakh candidates registered for the CBSE class 12th examinations this year.

CBSE has recently updated the Class 10, and 12th syllabus for the next academic session which is going to start from April 1, 2024. According to the information provided by the CBSE board, 5 subjects will be mandatory for Class 10 students. Along with this, 2 optional subjects will also be given to students. 

Whereas for Class 12 students, 7 subjects have been made compulsory, including The Humanities, Mathematics, Languages, Science, General Studies, Skilled Subjects, and Health and Physical Education. Students may note that the Board has decided to change the syllabus for Classes 3 and 6 as well, and new books will be launched soon.
