CBSE Passing Criteria for Term 1 Exam

Amid Covid-19 pandemic, the CBSE had earlier divided the Class 10 board examinations into two terms. In addition to this, CBSE has also altered the examination pattern. Examinations in all the theory subjects were conducted for 40 marks, while practical exams carried 10 marks. Hence, the minimum marks required to qualify the examination have been fixed as 33%.

CBSE Term 1 Result 2022 Status: PASS OR FAIL

The CBSE board has decided that the results of Term 1 exams will be declared in the form of marks scored by the candidates and no appearing student will be labelled as PASS or FAIL. As per the official updates, no student shall be placed in the FAIL, Compartment or Essential Repeat category, once the Term 1 results are out.
