UKPSC PCS 2024: Selection Process

The UKPSC PCS Recruitment 2024 involves three primary stages for the selection of an eligible candidate.

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): This initial screening stage comprises objective-type questions, including General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Tests. The marks obtained in this stage are solely used for qualifying candidates for the Main Examination and are not counted towards the final selection.

Main Examination (Written Type): Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination proceed to the Main Examination, which is descriptive. The scores from the Main Examination are crucial as they are considered for both qualifying candidates for the interview stage and in determining the final ranking.

Interview Examination: The final stage of the selection process is the Interview or Personality Test. Candidates who clear the Main Examination are called for the Interview. The marks scored in both the Main Examination and the Interview are taken into account for the final selection of candidates.
