NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to close the answer key challenge window for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 today, May 31. Candidates who appeared for the same and wish to raise objections against the provisional answer key till 11:50 pm by visiting the official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

The candidates may note that applicants will be required to pay an objection fee of Rs 200 for each answer key and each question. The fee will be non-refundable and can be paid via debit card or credit card or even net banking.

This year, the NEET UG exam was conducted on 5 May and around 24 lakh students appeared for the same. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 31 May 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.)” 

According to the official notice, “Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject Experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. 


NEET UG 2024: How to challenge the answer key? 
  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. 
  • Enter your login credentials like the application number and date of birth. 
  • Click on the answer key challenge link available on the home page. 
  • Select the questions and use the options given in ‘candidate’s claim’ to challenge the response.
  • Submit and move to the next screen. Your challenges will be displayed.
  • Click on ‘submit and pay fee finally’.
  • Select the payment mode and pay the challenge fee.
  • After successful payment, download and take a printout of the challenge receipt.
