WBJEE Counselling 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is going to close the registration window and choice-filling process for the mop-up round of the WBJEE counseling 2024 today. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in. to apply for WBJEE counseling 2024.
According to the counseling schedule, students will be able to lock in their submitted choices on 7 August 2024. The board will release the seat allotment result for the WBJEE counseling 2024 mop-up round on 9 August 2024 based on the preferences filled by the candidates.
The candidates must note that during the mop-up round, they will have to submit fresh choices of colleges and courses. Candidates who were previously registered will pay a registration fee of 200 for participating in the mop-up round. Candidates who will make new registrations will have to pay Rs 1,000 as the registration fee.
Candidates who did not complete the admission process in round 1 or round 2 can participate in the mop-up round. The candidates who will receive a fresh allotment in the mop-up round will pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000. After paying the fees they will be able to download the allotment letter and will have to report to the allotted institute for physical verification of documents.
If the documents are accepted, the candidate will have to complete the admission process. According to the schedule, freshly allotted candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission from 9 to 12 August 2024. Candidates should contact their respective institutes or visit their websites to find out the specific timings and detailed requirements for admission.
The candidates may note that the mop-up round provides a final chance to secure their desired seats in engineering colleges across West Bengal.
