Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu is going to close the registration window for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 today. Interested candidates who have not registered yet can visit the official website i.e. tnmedicalselection.net. to apply for TN NEET UG counselling 2024.
The candidates may note that the counselling committee will release a merit list of candidates for the first round of counselling. Only those applicants who will submit a complete application form will be considered in the list. Candidates will be able to fill options of colleges and courses once the registration window is closed.
The candidates who want to register for the same will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 for government quota seats and Rs 1,000 for management quota seats. Scheduled Caste (SC), SC (Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of Tamil Nadu natives are exempted from payment of the application fee.

Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Documents required
- NEET UG 2024 admit card and scorecard.
- Class 10 marksheet (both sides of certificate).
- Class 12 marksheet (both sides of certificate).
- HSC mark sheet (both sides) or any other equivalent examination.
- Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of HSC or equivalent courses.
- Certificate for proof of study from Class 6 to Class 12 for the candidates who have studied completely in Tamil Nadu.
- Community certificate
- Nativity certificate (if applicable).
- Community certificate of either one of the parents
- A bonafide certificate from the Chief Educational Officer is mandatory to candidates who have studied Class 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu government Schools for 7.5% special reservation
- Income certificate of a parent for the candidates claiming fee exemption. Eligibility certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Guindy, Chennai for the candidates of other universities/boards (except Tamil Nadu board, CBSE board, ISCE board).
- Court orders (if any).
- Additional supporting documents (if any).
- Linguistic Minority Certificate (Telugu and Malayalam), Christian Minority Certificate for candidates claiming management quota minority status NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card for candidates claiming management quota
- NRI status
- Certificate of relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate, valid Indian passport of the NRI financial supporter.
- NRE (Non-Resident External) bank account passbook of the financial supporter.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to apply?
- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. tnmedicalselection.net.
- Then click on the application link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and log in with generated credentials.
- Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the required fees and click on submit.
- Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
