Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Tamil Nadu will end registrations for the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 counselling on July 12, 2023. Candidates who have not applied yet can complete the Tamil Nadu NEET registration on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Important Details
Earlier, the last date to apply was July 10. After receiving many representations from candidates requesting an extension for the receipt of applications in MBBS and BDS courses for the 2023-2024 academic session, DMER decided to extend the deadline.
The Tamil Nadu NEET counselling registration fee for general category candidates is Rs 500. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar, and Scheduled Tribe categories are exempt from paying the application fee.
For government quota seats, a security deposit of Rs 30,000 is required, while for management quota seats, the security deposit amount is Rs 1,00,000. The security deposit will be forfeited if a candidate who has been allotted a seat in the second or subsequent rounds fails to join the respective institution.
