Additionally, counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2023) will commence soon for admission to postgraduate medical courses.
NEET PG 2023 Counselling Starts Soon: Important Updates
According to the most recent notification by the NMC, the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) received 2,828 applications from medical colleges for recognition and renewal of PG medical qualifications last year. As per the commission's report, the PG Medical Board has already made decisions on 1,870 petitions, and the remaining requests are still being processed.
Additionally, it states that NEET PG counselling 2023 will begin soon based on the NEET 2023 exam conducted for postgraduate medical admissions. The available broad specialty seats in recognised and approved medical colleges will be considered for admission in the academic year 2023-2024. It further mentions that medical colleges can reduce the number of seats under special circumstances, and the seat matrix will be adjusted accordingly.
