The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Post-Graduate, NEET PG 2021 from October 25. Qualified candidates in the entrance test can register on the official website of NEET MCC to participate in the counselling process for 50% of All India Quota seats.
MCC is responsible for conducting NEET PG counselling for MD, MS, Diploma and PG DNB seats under All India Quota and for admission to seats in Central and Deemed Universities and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) seats. MCC NEET PG counselling will be conducted in two rounds, followed by a mop-up round for Deemed and Central University seats and PG DNB seats and a Stray vacancy round later.
NEET PG 2021 Counseling: To be Conducted in 2 Rounds
The registration and fee payment for MCC NEET PG counselling round 1 can be completed by October 29. The payment facility will be available till 3 pm on 29th October. Candidates can do their choice filling and lock college seats from 26 October to 29 October (11:55 PM). After this, the institutes will conduct internal verification of the candidates at their level on 30th October. The seat allotment results of the first round will be declared on November 03. At the same time, the selected candidates will have to report for admission to the institutes between November 04 to 10. The NEET PG counselling round 2 will be conducted from November 15 to December 2. In this, the mop-up round will start from 07 December.
National Medical Council, NMC and National Board of Examinations, NBE has informed that new LOP and recognition will be issued by 15th November 2021. Therefore, those new seats cannot be included in Round 2 of NEET-PG Counselling, 2021 which is scheduled to start on 15th November 2021. Hence, candidates are advised to make a wise decision while doing choice filling in the first round of NEET-PG counselling 2021.
