The registration process for the class 9 selection test for the year 2022 has been started by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS. The last date to apply for the selection test is 31st October. The candidates must note that the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, JNVST 2022 is going to be conducted for admissions of candidates for the 2022-23 academic year. The candidates can find more detailed information about the same on the Navodaya official website- navodaya.gov.in. 

The JNVST 2022 is going to be conducted on 9th April 2022. The examination mode will be offline for the candidates. In order to be eligible to apply, the candidates must be studying in class 8 during the 2021-22 academic year. Also, the candidates must be studying in any recognized school by the government where a JNV admission is sought. The candidates must go through the official notification before applying for the selection test. 


How to Apply for NVS Admission 2022: 

The candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned instructions to apply for the NVS Admission 2022. 

Step 1: Visit the Navodaya official website on navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: A homepage will appear, click on the link named 'CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR CLASS IX LATERAL ENTRY SELECTION TEST 2022.'
Step 3: Register by selecting the district and the state. 
Step 4: Proceed to log in and fill the application form with the necessary details and click on the submit button.
Step 5: Download the Application form. 
Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the same for future references.

What is JNV Class 9 Selection Test? 

The candidates must note that the selection test will be held for the duration of 150 minutes. The exam will be taken in an OMR sheet. The total marks for which the exam would be conducted is 100 marks and the question paper would be made available in both Hindi and English language. The questions will come from Hindi, English, Science, and Maths. The exam difficulty standard will be of class 8. The test would be of objective type and the candidates are not allowed to take any break in between the examination.
