MCC NEET UG special stray vacancy counseling 2024 begins today for vacant MBBS, BDS seats; Check schedule here

MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a special stray vacancy round for NEET UG counselling 2024 to fill vacant MBBS, and BDS seats due to the non-joining of candidates after the completion of the last round. Candidates who have already registered for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 will be allowed to participate in the special stray round.
The candidates may note that the list of NEET UG vacant seats for MBBS, and BDS admission has been released on the official website i.e. mcc.nic.in. There will be no fresh registration for this round, however, candidates will be allowed to fill in choices and make the fee payments through the MCC official portal within the specified deadline. 

The applicants under the all India quota (AIQ), opting for government seats, irrespective of their category will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 for participating in the NEET UG special stray vacancy round. Those registered for deemed universities will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 3 lakh. 

According to the official notice,  “Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Special Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited and they will not be eligible to take NEET UG exam for next year i.e 2025.”
