The registration process for Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA 2021 counselling is to conclude today, October 25. The candidates who have qualified the JEE (Advanced) 2021 can apply for the seat allocation process till 5 PM, today. Only those candidates will be considered for seat allocation rounds who will complete the registration process before the estimated time.
The JoSAA 2021 counselling Registration window is available online at the official website - josaa.nic.in. Candidates can register for the JoSAA counselling by using their JEE Main/ Advanced credentials. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2021 would be required to use their Main registration number and password. However, the candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced would be required to use their Main registration number and Advanced password. Moreover, the candidates would be required to fill the courses and colleges of their choice in online mode and apply.
JoSAA Counselling Details
The JoSAA will conduct the counselling process for admission to BTech programmes for admissions into IITs, IIITs, NITs and GFTIs respectively. The category-wise seats along with the academic schedules are available on the online counselling portal. Candidates can fill the choice of the institute and the desired course through the JoSAA 2021 online counselling portal. The authorities will release the seat allotment results for the same on October 27.
JoSAA 2021 Seat Allotment
The candidate have to choose any one of the options - 'Freeze', 'Float' or 'Slide', for the choice of the academic program for subsequent rounds. After acceptong the allotment, candidates will have to report at the admission institute, complete all admission formalities of the institute, confirm the admission and start the academic session. The JoSAA has announced the Mock seat Allotment for round 1 on the official website on October 22, 2021.
