IGNOU December TEE 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the December term-end examination (TEE) 2024 till 27 October 2024 without a late fee. The students who have not applied yet can visit the official website i.e. iop.ignouonline.ac.in. to register for the December 2024 TEE exam under the online distance learning (ODL) and online programs.
This extension is available for all students preparing for the December 2024 exams, providing extra time for those who were unable to submit their forms earlier. The university has asked students to take advantage of this opportunity to secure their eligibility for the upcoming exams. According to the official notice, "The date for submission of Exam Form has been extended without late fee to 27/10/2024."
Earlier, the IGNOU extended the last date for fresh admissions for the July 2024 session. The registration deadline for admission to all programs offered in ODL and online modes (excluding semester-based and certificate programs) is 31 October 2024.
IGNOU informed the students that it will try to accommodate the students in the examination center opted by them. (In case, the sitting at the center has been exhausted, the student may choose the nearest or alternate exam center under the jurisdiction of the same regional center). The university advised students who registered for appearing in practical or lab courses including the BLIS Programme to contact their regional centre for more details.
The candidates who registered for the first year or re-registered for the second or third year of undergraduate and postgraduate programs; diploma and PG diploma; certificate, PG certificate, and semester-based courses can fill out the exam form. They will have to create an ABC ID at the time of registration.

IGNOU December TEE 2024: Important instructions
- June 2024 TEE results are being uploaded in a phased manner. In case, the result of any course is not declared on or before the last date of submission of the online exam form for December 2024, students are advised to fill out the exam form without waiting for the complete result to avoid future consequences.
- Jail inmates are advised to submit the exam form at the concerned regional center only. The jail inmates will not be allowed to appear in regular exam centers under any circumstances, as exam centers for jail inmates are activated in the respective jail itself. In case any jail inmates submit the form and opt for an exam center outside the jail, it will be reverted to the same jail where the inmate is in custody.
