Aryabhatta College and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College which is affiliated with Delhi University, DU has released their special cut off list today, 25th October 2021. As of now, the university has released three cut off lists under which more than 60,000 candidates have secured admission. The special cut off list has been released for those candidates who failed to secure admission in the previous three cut off list. This time, the students do not have the chance of cancelling the admission and securing admission to a college or course of the choice which was available in the second and third lists. The special cut off list has been released and it is a cut off for a program. 

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College Special Cut Off: 

  • BCom(Honours) at 98.25 per cent
  • BSc(Honours) Chemistry at 96.33 per cent
  • BSc(Honours) Computer Science
  • Mathematics (Honours) and Physics (Honours) at 97 per cent
  • BSc Physical Science with Computer Science at 95 per cent

Aryabhatta College Special Cut Off: 

  • BA (honours) Economics at 97 per cent 
  • BA(Honours) Hindi at 84 per cent
  • BA(Honours) Psychology at 97.75 per cent
  • BCom at 96.75 per cent
  • BCom(Honours) at 97 per cent
  • BSc(Honours) Computer Science is 96.5 per cent
  • BA programme combination of Economics and Political Science is 95.75 per cent  
  • BA programme combination of Economics and History is 95 per cent

As per the official notification, the colleges are releasing the special cut off list because they have more than two seats vacant as they do not want excessive admission. In the case where colleges have only 2 seats vacant for admission, they prefer to release cut off for those seats in the fourth and fifth list. An official statement reads “If there are excessive admissions in the unreserved category, then the seats in the reserved categories have to be increased in that proportion.”

As per the official notification, the wards of teaching and non-teaching staff in the Delhi University can secure admission to Delhi University affiliated colleges under the ward quota.
